Requests for a hypothetical octatrack successor

In the context of the history of Swedish engineering, the Octatrack is a like a Saab 900. Expensive, idiosyncratic, ridiculously over-engineered, good quality. They’re probably still on the road today. Even though it was a product which contributed massively to the company’s international reputation, it’s paradoxically not one which can survive the culture of global consumerism and the faster/cheaper product design cycles that accompany it.
