Resample exemptions without DIR/Cue

I have input AB going via mixer DIR and not using a thru track.

I don’t want to resample inputs AB - but I want to resample everything else (CD + some other tracks)

I would use ‘cue’ however its a bit complicated because CUE goes to a hardware fx chain

Need a bit of custom thinking here.

Use T8 as master track.
If Im right, sampling T8 will not include your DIR inputs.

Not at OT right now to test.

Or, Just mute what ever you dont want resampled.

Thanks I will play with this

If I resample CUE (SRC3) to a new track and use CUe on that same new track to pass the resampled audio to external fx I will get feedback every time I resample to that same channel

But if I use a neighbour track after it and cue that neighbour track will that avoid the loop

Hmm it does seem like sampling track 8 includes DIR inputs unfortunately

The beauty of limitations

Possible workaround: change to a new part/pattern once i have resampled the cue tracks?

I feel like the personalise menu should include the option to exclude DIR inputs from the master track (8)

You can use a scene to mute the DIR inputs.

Set cue mutes track in settings.

even when resampling your own music, you have to pay royalities: that’s for the copyright
