I have had a rme multiface 2 for about 10 years now. Shame on me I just today found out that I can expand it with any rme hdsp interface and it will be seen “as one” as they all use the same driver. Even on PC.
I’m stoked and ashamed. This would have made everything so much easier. I’ll probably be getting an older 9652 and expand my system with 3 more adat i/o and sync via wordclock.
I love rme. Like really. This just lifted them to another level. Sometimes you should really rtfm. It’s in there.
Maybe other rme owners don’t know this yet. You can cascade similar rme card types.
