Agree with what’s been said here, as I’ve also had both and used both extensively.

The SH is better for jamming and performance because the interface is far less cluttered and more intuitive. It’s much easier to grab faders on a dark stage.

The SE as mentioned does sound incredible and brings that alive feel that only an analog synth can provide but I found it really hard to use when jamming. You have to be very very precise with the knobs and it’s almost impossible on a dark stage.

I’d go with the SH01A. It’s a nice bread and butter synth and it’s super easy to use in any environment. Sounds good too.
