Not close enough.
Look elsewhere.

Digitakt is ideal if you want those sounds in an Elektron workflow/sequencer.

I’m liking Syntakt’s sequencer, but I might consider TR8S’s smaller sibling TR-6S or even the MC-101 for drums and other sounds.

I can see your point. I have a Digitakt as well. I hope the ST gets a sample playback machine soon.
