RYTM: MIDI DIN input, USB - can you use rytm as a midi interface?

Hi there,

I have a keyboard that generates midi but only has a 5 pin midi cable output.
I have inserted this into the MIDI IN port on the rytm.
I connected to my laptop via usb hoping to be able to receive the midi messages from my keyboard into my DAW.
It looks like this isn’t possible or I’ve missed something!

I’ve configured my settings on Rytm to receive the midi correctly because I can set the channel on my keyboard and play the rytm.
Is this just not something the RYTM can do or am I missing something!?

SEMI - SOLVED: I needed to activate track midi in the track settings!
It’s not exactly what I wanted though as it plays the track which I kinda didn’t want. I was essentially hoping for midi thru from the MIDI IN -> USB.
Is this possible?

None of the Elektrons are configurable as MIDI Interfaces, so no connection between DIN and USB MIDI
