Rytm MK2 song mode 'transpose' the A4 pattern?

I suspect I’m either missing something obvious or if I want to use a song mode which transposes patterns on the A4 then I need to make my A4 the master?

Setup: Analog Rtym Mk2 master clock into Analog Four Mk2.
Using song mode on the AR2 I don’t believe it is possible to transpose a pattern in the song?

So I must use A4Mk2 Song mode and make that device the clock (and pattern) master? Unless I’m missing something really obvious?

I shouldn’t think so, I can’t see how the AR could even be used in such a way over midi, I’m no song-mode expert, but I don’t see a viable mechanism to remotely do that - using your song mode on the A4 to transpose the A4 seems like a plan - maybe a song mode expert will have a better suggestion
