So, my overall sample library on my computer is a mess, well it’s not a mess but I’ve got my main one I’ve been building/had for decades, a backup of a long sold Model: Samples, a folder of Digitakt stuff at 48k and then an OT library at 44k.
Long intro to simple question, does Transfer change the sample rate for the machine it’s connected to or am I doomed to have multiple folders of the same samples at different sample rates forever?
That being said, of course the OT doesn’t use Transfer, I guess the question is will Transfer change the sample rate of things if I send them to the Digitakt? I’m pretty sure it’s a hard no but just wanted to check.
It certainly does for model samples. I would guess it would apply to all sample-based machines the software supports.
I’ve defiinitely had ‘wrong speed sample rate playback’ on at least one of my machines but I suspect it was from moving a Digitakt 48k sample to the OT at 44k just as a mounted drive.
