Saving R1 to rom without reload

Hey,

Let’s say I sampled a sound and tweaked it, now I’d like to save the sample to a rom slot but the MD resets the R track and my cool little line is gone, even when I reassigned the sample from Rom.

So my question would be, is there a way to save/load samples without losing the current machine settings?

few ways to interpret this.

resample the phrase to another RAM but then you loose the tweakability.

do what you did and save the sample then reload it on that track but pressing func+yes when selecting/loading the ROM from kit menu. (assuming param locks are stored in the tracks trigs for the synth page, filter and routing page will be retained from previous)
