Saving ‘starting point’ patches

I’ve had the DN for a few months now but only just started saving patches - with most synths I tend to just start from scratch for every sound.

For example, today I created a sort of Pearl Syncussion patch, using algorithm 2 to create a tuned body with C/A and noise with B1/2, and a single cycle LFO for a noise decay envelope. It’s great loading this basic patch up on all tracks and tweaking to get a huge variety of drum tones with a similar basic character.

I’ve also got a basic detuned saw analog style pad sound which I often start from.

So, I wondered if other people are doing the same kind of thing. If so, what kind of basic starting point patches do you have?

That’s a neat idea. I tend to save finished patches but they’re so tied into the track I’m making at the time I’m unlikely to reuse them really.
