anyone still using Machinedrum? Feel overwhelmed a bit by posted tracks with my good ol’ humble MD… AR especially should be in other category or smth haha. Sounds amazing and non-quantised drums are something I miss a lot with my style of music.
anyway good luck to all, still saving cash for AR.
woo!
a lot of great stuff here
nice sound design, give me a lot inspirations!
Good luck everybody!
HA this is one is RAD![/quote]
Thanks man
Hi guys,
Just joining the party. Awesome Lab!
My weapon of choice was a MachineDrum UW.
Here was a practice tune I made:

And here’s my real submission.
Cheers,

Yes, I’ll be using the MDUW (MK 1!!)
It was interesting to do, considering the MDUW’s limitations. (I don’t mean any disrespect to the venerable MDUW!) I would have loved to had gotten a long, lush pad out of the machine, but it just wasn’t happening. I did get some cool sounds and patterns going.
OT users probably had a lot easier time.
I’ll post mine by tomorrow night.
Good luck!
Hello,
yes here is the gorgeous old grandma MD only.

I never listen to the posted tracks before. Until now,…wow what a great work guys.
If i had listen before,…it is highly questionable whether i send it out.
OT and AR is another league, but it was fun to see how it works on the good old MD
I have a lot anticipation to hear all the other tracks.
Good luck!
Impressive, back to the drawing board for me.
DIGGING this one!
My submission is with the Md. I posted it like 57 pates ago, to save you the time, here’s a shameless repost of my link LOL

hah, I’m using the MK 1 too (without Turbo MIDI !!), I like some crackled/lofi-styled snares, sticks etc. and got some cool results, still couldn’t get the groove I love the most with MD’s sequencer limitiations though

Even on the AR, I was trying to get a lush pad. I got close and I’m sure i would have been able to get a little more out of it if I fiddled around with it some more. Unfortunately, I also had a problem with my live recording during song mode as my not all my trigless trigs were being captured, leaving some steps reverting to the non-automated or non-p-locked state, so I was meticulously setting up plocks step-by-step, like if i wanted to progressively open up a filter. I’ll be very happy when overbridge comes out so I can go back and fix issues like this in the DAW.
nice one man. AR ftw
Hi. Bravo everybody.
I have the octatrack since exactly 3 month and I didn’t know it was such crazy machine !!!
Here is my Loop King :

I just finished my submission:
That was way fun. Good luck everyone!
Wow some awesome work coming through. Here’s my submission. The hardest part for me was having to work right next to my modular rack. I think it was secretly laughing at me the entire time.

Fantastic composition and sound design. Funky as hell too.
Don’t worry about not having gotten a reply to your submission yet. I currently have 83 unread messages
Please! Don’t send WAV files!
We have way too many submissions to move around WAV files to those who will pick the winners. The rules clearly state MP3-320.
