Science Lab Challenge, February 2015

Sorry Guys, I would like to make some clarification to myself, in the hope someone can chime in or gets an useful answer…

---- [OT machine] here ----

• It has been said that it is not allowed to destructively edit the sample in AudioEditor.

• BUT it is allowed to Slice it, right?

• What is destructive in AudioEditor? [of course: crop - gain (+/-3dB selection and Gain in Attributes) - paste - channel swap…they are, right?]

• BUT what about changing the original BPM f the sample in Attributes?

OR…finally:

Can we consider the operations made in EDIT tab of AudioEditor forbidden?
And other tabs (so called: TRIM-SLICE-ATTR-FILE) allowed?

Hello,

here is my submission with the OT:

OT - fantastic machine!

Good luck everyone!

Destructive sample editing: Meaning that the original waveform has been edited in a DAW or Audio Editor such as the one inside OT’s EDIT section.

So Slicing and other OT features are ok - as the original sample is intact.

If you use the EDIT functions inside the audio editor, then the sample waveform has been altered which is no go.

YES EXACTLY! And TRIM SLICE ATTR FILE commands are allowed.

It’s nice to be part of this creative community. So many inspiring tracks for listening.

Sometimes I miss the info about used machine. Would be nice to know the tool people used.

Thanks Elektron for such mass creativity stimulation!

Here is mine bit.
