Science Lab Challenge, February 2015

could somebody help with the upload, i don’t really understand where i can find the user, to send the track? Thanks a lot!!! Greetings

did you work it out? if you go to the first post you can click on Fredrikalm’s picture and there a menu should pop up with a choice to send a message.

then you have to provide a link to a download of your track. if you have dropbox or hightail or yousendit etc, you can upload the track, you can then copy and paste the download link in the message.

thats what i did. someone else may be able to provide a more direct way

So many great entries (I’m embarrassed of mine, but I’d rather join the party anyway lol).

This is my entry for the competition. I’ve only had this machine a few weeks so it’s been a great learning experience! Good luck to everyone. A lot of talented people here!

Here’s my very humble submission. I’ve never done anything like this before!

I’m also enjoying everyone’s track. Good luck!

Damn thats good!
Thanks man!
Not sure if we’re uploading these, but here’s the project file.

Machinedrum UW FTW. Seriously. Much respect.

Very impressive submissions!

Here is what might be mine,if I don’t record a better version tonight - made on a MDUW+ MKII, mostly live tweaking:

Wow, just blown away with what people have done! So glad I didn’t listen to these before I finished my lame-ass track, but here’s to sharing!! Definitely taught me some things about using samples on the MD. I’m even more in love with it than ever before. Thanks for forcing the issue, Elektron!

Some serious talent out there, loving listening to all of these! so glad to have finally joined the elektron family! Here is my attempt https://soundcloud.com/leehodge/ar-the-bats-science-lab-hodgeylee

smashed it. id be very keen to poke around in the sysex of this one to see how you got such cool rolling bass sounds.
Thanks, I’ll post it when I’m back from work with some explanation.

Here is mine. Didn’t have any time to work on it so I’ll leave it as is.

soundcloud is here https://soundcloud.com/nedavine/nedavine-simplelooping/s-cY4aZ

Thought i’d give it a go, this is what i ended up with.

woooooowww, the soundcloud is stuffed with some sickly superb submissions from you guys!
i’m looking forward to listen to them all.

here’s my contribution:

it’s…ehhh…cough, cough…an experimental musical simulation of pain stages the poisonous bite of the Pink Noise Mountains Harpy (harpiae rubesco lessus montibus) triggers.

and it starts quite quietly.

Your right !!!

^ wha…

PongFu just spoiled the ‘competition’, wtf, i was gonna to rustle sommink up tonight , why bother … except, i am utterly convinced the winner will be using an AR, it’s obvious ! anyway, besides the masterful programming and delicate tune, i am utterly astonished that those synth lines could’ve come out of the OT, let alone that sample, sublime :+1:

my other theory is that someone on warp has an alter-ego :alien:
yeah I agree plenty of awesome tracks, but this one is absolutely amazing.
I also had that alter-ego theory at some point, just imagine… ; )
Love this One too !!!

First post, long time lurker. Just saw this science lab yesterday and had the day free today so I got busy with the machinedrum. What a blast!! And how amazing are the submissions I’ve heard so far - totally blown away.
