Sensitive buttons A4MKII and Digitone

Some buttons on my Digitone and Analog Four MKII receive a second push when I press them once.
For example: when I press the track 3 button on the A4 once, sometimes it brings me to the sound browser, because it receives a second press.

Is there an option to finetune the sensitivity of the buttons? On both units.

Also, when changing octaves on the A4, sporadically the keyboard modulates to the G key on its own

That would be a firmware thing or a hardware problem - regardless, there’s no user setting for that. But you could film the behaviour and raise a support ticket on Elektron.se. They will let you know what to do.

I have the same problem on my Digitone Keys. And it affects the TRIG-buttons also, so I keep loosing my sequenced notes and P-locks… :unamused:

That’s not a good experience and kind of makes your Digitone useless almost.

I’m wondering how this could be solved by a tweak to the firmware, though.

Has your unit been acting like this since day one?
I bought mine used

You’re not alone, fear not. I’ve got the same ‘niggle’ on my Digitone Keys AND Analog Four MKII - it only seems to do a double-press on the parameter page buttons though for me.

However, this doesn’t happen if it press them quite firm and deliberate (if you know what I mean!), it’s only when I tap them that sometimes it goes to the 2nd parameter page when I want it to go to the first.

Quite frustrating though, it does slow me down, and the fact that it’s on BOTH my Elektron boxes sort of implies it’s something quite usual with the type of sensors underneath those buttons.

I’d love to hear from more users with the same issue and if they’ve found a way around this.
