Sequencer Midi Out Problem (playing synths own sounds on top)

Hello.

Just bought a Analogue 4 mk2 and what a machine. Have read the manual and played around to get the hang of it and i love althogh a it of a learning curve.
Now i want to use the a2mk2 for its own sound and as an sequencer for external gear.
Ive ran into a problem though. At the moment im able to send midi through track ones sequence and the responding device is recieving but the a4mk2s own sound is allso being generated on top. How do i turn this of n on?
In some cases this is obviously a good thing but not all.
Side question while at it. How do i change note lenght in the sequencer.

Thx guys and hang with me plz cause there will be questions

Welcome.

I’d set track level to 0. Maybe better solutions…

Btw if you don’t use CV outputs you can use CV track, and also FX track.

Note LENgth is in NOTE page.

In Grid Recording mode you can parameter lock LEN by holding trigs and turn LEN, or record it in Live Recording mode by turning LEN.

that, and/or … Just for robustness i’d set the oscillators to Ground - sadly this won’t free up said voice for polyphony elsewhere - so leaning on the FX / CV track is still the best approach
