Sequencing digitone from iPad

I got the senode app which I like for generative stuff. Last night I setup to sequence the DN, I can get it sort of working, appreciate any thoughts on the following. Btw I dig out an old midi mobilizer 2 from the box and using that for now. iPad -lightning adapter-MM2.

Stopstart won’t sync
Tempo won’t sync
Everything appears to be on one channel ie chaneel mutes don’t do anything.

It shows the notes coming through and I can hear it just want it completely synced. Do i need a more up to date midi interface for iPad? Cheers

With previous gear using a camera connection kit and hooking the iPad and elektron via USB worked just great. Haven’t tried with my Digitakt but it worked with the Analog Rytm and Analog Four mk1.

Works fine with digitakt

I don’t have the Digitakt but I use the following setup with AF MKII: actually just bought the Focusrite iTrack Dock last week. Connected my AF to the iTrack via USB. Didn’t have much time to test so far… only tested with GarageBand, once enabled “send MIDI clock” in GB it syncs transport (GB -> AF only) + tempo. AF keyboard sends MIDI to GB so you can use it to play software instruments in GB… No noticeable latency. All in all does everything I need and works like a charm.

I use AUM with the CCK. AUM has really good midi routing.
