Yeah, I am guessing the module will be around $2,400.
Dave, Bob, and Don are bluish spirits ala Jedi.
Module? Definitely waiting for the mono Toraiz T-1 at $500
Just a guess that there will be a module version showing up in about 6-12 months, based on the timeline and pricing of other Sequential modules.
That was my thought too. I’m hoping whoever is running things now will want to focus on that soon if they aren’t already.
An Evolver/P12-inspired hybrid around the Take 5 filters and format would be the perfect synth for me.
Not sequential, but the M is pretty much that.
I had the thought right after posting that. Was thinking the Take 5 price point and keyboard would be ideal for me but now that I can get an M for the same price shipping overseas into the states…
Doooooo iiiiiiit
I would do it.
However, I do absolutely LOVE all things Sequential too, so…
I know a handful of people who couldn’t afford to have kids, they have plenty anyway.
honestly, with a name like Trigon (still don’t understand it’s meaning in the context)
I totally understand it’s logical place in the lineup, but I would have LOVED the TRI part to mean essentially a 6 voice poly Pro3. I know that’s a shitload of analog filters to load up (18) into a polysynth, but it really would have been an impressive release.
maybe a 6-voice pro3 is possible?
How can they fit three filters and three oscillators plus all the cv and audio DAC and opamps you would need all on that tiny little plug in card? It was already smooshed in on the p6 with two filters, I bet just having what is in the trigon have the cards all filled up.
Maybe engineering in your dreams, but not in this reality we live in.
Well that leaves only one other option: the dark arts.
I thought we’d established it’s hasn’t got the three filters?
ah come on man, live a little! break from the format and offer it in Moog One size, with a 61 key keybed with poly aftertouch $4,999
official site only mentions one filter
If it had the three filters, thru would have discontinued the p6 and ob6 before hand… there would be no trinity… only the one…(pun intended!!)
yeah this is a smart move. those two are my top synths. i’ve swapped one for the other more than once. someday will own both
the M is unbelievable. when i saw it was about $1500 after vat and shipping from juno, i couldnt resist. even cheaper than the first one i ordered from thomann, which i thought was an insane deal at the time
but i’ve only ever paid like $1250 for a new t5, so it’s slightly cheaper generally
