Simon@elektron do you have any plans to do your own video on the Digitone? Given that fm is your thing I, would love to see as would many others I’m sure, would like to see you do a video on FM percussion metallic sounds and the like.

Hiya! Wow, my very own topic. 
I’ve been thinking of making a video actually. There are a lot of points I would like to explain about the Digitone that haven’t been explained in-depth yet (aside from the manual, albeit in brief terms)
Would be a good reason for me to buy a nice microphone anyway. He he he he…
As for some AMA thing - not sure if I should just have you guys send in a bunch of questions in an e-mail inbox and answer them in a topic here, or do it Reddit style on r/synthesizers for example. Maybe a video could do both things.

@Ess a video would be terrific, and would allow you to demonstrate some things with visuals and sounds relatively easily compared to written format.
That said, AMA would be great for more detailed answers that go deeper into the weeds than a video might.
IMHO I’d suggest collecting questions and addressing as many as possible in the video, as you say, then perhaps schedule an AMA for a few weeks later for followup questions.
Thanks for however you choose to handle this – your involvement really makes a difference for us users.

A suggestion would be to ask @cuckoomusic to join, since he’s used to such AMA live video.

As a suggestion, what about a live stream? You could answer stuff, show stuff you like and you end up with a huge video for posterity (we all like huge videos, let’s be honest).
Am I an old curmudgeon or is there something annoying about that Andrew guy?

I apologize if this is a redundant post, but can anyone link me to the thread that has all of the answers to the questions people came up with for the digitone’s functionality? Really I just wanted to know if there was any chance the digitone could be used with a sustain pedal through midi? I didn’t find any evidence of that in the manual, nor am I finding any evidence that the “AMA” ever existed!

Yeah, I’m still chopping away at the questions… I’ve been busy with more pressing work, aside from all the bangers of course.
I hid the original topic in order to not get more questions.
Not at the moment, but that is certainly a sensible feature request.
