I’m looking for a delay pedal for synths. It’s for live jamming so needs to be straightforward and easy to use. Midi not necessary but tap tempo preferred. I don’t really want it for simple delays but for some nice character and interesting sounds. Stereo required.

Eventide Timefactor can be found second hand for a relatively cheap price (230€ in France, a steal) while it’s very hands-on, immediate, and high quality, both in sound and build.
I really like my strymon el capistan. I have mk1, not a new pedal though still great, but mk2 adds midi. stereo. easy to dial in good sounds. multiple “modes”, hidden secondary functions. even without using the tape delay effects it can add warble or wow&flutter emulation, tape crinkle, spring reverb. you can have a favorite set with a extra pedal switch. you can control repeats or any other modulation knob of choice with an expression pedal. sound on sound mode is essentially a looper. it can be found for a couple hundred for a mk1, a little more for mk2. also, excellent build quality.
