On the search for a small and compact, preferably metal, good quality midi controller with faders and buttons, maybe knobs to control my daw mixer and launch clips/scenes.
Please ignore the colors on the example pic, but something like that. I wouldn’t say I like the cheap plastic options like Korg nano Kontrol etc. Maybe custom-made? But no luck so far in finding anything close. TE TX-6 would also be great but obv not gonna buy it just as a midi controller.

Not sure what your budget is, but here’s a few options.
Faderfox UC4
Small and compact, but not everyone’s cup of tea.
Kenton Killamix.
Not sliders, but it has a joystick and very configurable. Also metal.
Novation Zero SL MK2
Discontinued, but can be has cheap second hand and has everything. Not small though.
Then there’s that one that Elevator Sound and Big T did, but it’s just 16 sliders, no knobs or buttons.
Probably best to get on Etsy and start looking for someone that’ll do a custom job.
This is a really cool MIDI controller system. I would love to pick up a few of these to build a ‘bespoke’ setup:
