Just a simple Google search for “Elektron Digitakt” , then clicked the Shopping tab. It’s on sale across every website listed. Guitar Center, Perfect Circuit, B&H, Musician’s Friend etc. Doesn’t show me EU retailers though.
Maybe there is something special about sales in US. These shops you listed don’t exist in EU and the price still is 900€ everywhere 
it’s called pushing stock. retailers probably overstocked on units after hearing about the digitakt’s os upgrades thinking they would sell a bunch and never did. it’s not that deep, go play your digitakt
