(solved) M:Cycles, USB connection to mac ( need a hand please)

Hello,
so i tryed the first time to connect my M:Cycles by USB to my mac.
( i´m on a M1/Big Sur Mac, in case that it counts)

the Cycles is NOT showing up. Not in my VST-Host, nor the Mac Audio settings.

As what (Name) should it be shown ?

i have set the Cycles to: USB: A+M ( guess thats the needed setting)
is there anything else to look on the cycles / whats the stumbling stones ?

Regarding the name … this is how it would show within the transfer app:

I can’t think of anything else that might help I’m afraid.

ok, might be a M1mac related problem i guess.

i just re-connected the Cycles, and i got to see a very short message that the Cycles was conntected,
the Name exactly like in @bibenu `s answer shown.

but its then not showing up elsewhere !
not in my VST-Host ( incl. restarting)
nor my system/audio settings.

…thats a drawback. it would have been quite handy.

ahhh, wait:
it is shown as a midi port…(scratching my head)

So that is under Settings -> Ports. Have you also checked Settings -> midi and Settings -> Audio ?

hmm, …i´m fresh to all this settings.
i just played a bit with the settings in all confusion,
and now the M:S shows up as a Audio device,
but i could not tell you what setting it was, haha.

if i had to guess, was it,…hmm, i indeed can´t say anything,…
I must have set a parameter off-on that was activating the connection.

Thanks ! problem solved

Both audio and midi working on my M1 Mac for both samples and cycles, didn’t have to do anything special.
