This problem got resolved by support, thanks again!
-> I had to change to a standard micro USB connecting the Overhub since the Overhub USB 3 controller is not compatible with older Mac Systems USB 2. Now it works nicely and also loads my AVB Motu System correctly.
==========================================================
Hi,
I use OSX 10.10.5 Yosemite, Ableton Live 9.2.2, Overbridge 1.0.0 with a
AK 1.21B and a AR 1.21B and a Motu AVB Soundsystem.
First Scenario
- I turn on my Motu Soundsystem
- I turn on the AK and then the AR
In the OSX Audio Devices list it shows the following
-Motu 16a
-AK (Bit Accurate)
-AK (Core Audio)
-AR (Core Audio)
When I turn on the AR before the AK it shows
-Motu 16a
-AR (Bit Accurate)
-AR (Core Audio)
-AK (Core Audio)
- I start Ableton Live and open the AK and AR VST.
Only one VST works, I can only control the Device I have turned on first…(One plugin-dot is green, the other one is greyed out)
Second Scenario:
- I turn on the AK and then the AR
In the OSX Audio Devices list it shows the following
-AK (Bit Accurate)
-AK (Core Audio)
-AR (Core Audio)
When I turn on the AR before the AK it shows
-AR (Bit Accurate)
-AR (Core Audio)
-AK (Core Audio)
Same Result as Scenario one. Only one VST works, I can only control the Device I have turned on first…(One plugin-dot is green, the other one is greyed out)
Third Scenario:
- I turn on the AK and then the AR
- I turn on my Motu Soundsystem
In the OSX Audio Devices list it shows the following
-AK (Bit Accurate)
-AK (Core Audio)
-AR (Core Audio)
When I turn on the AR before the AK it shows
-AR (Bit Accurate)
-AR (Core Audio)
-AK (Core Audio)
My Motu system doesn’t even show up. It seems that all the “Sound Devices” cannot co-exist together.

Here my questions:
- Shouldn’t there be a “Bit Accurate” for both, the AR and the AK?
- Can only one VST be used, can’t I control both, the AK and the AR in one Ableton Session?
- Why does the Sound devices interfere with my main sound device?
Any help is really appreciated.
Thanks,
Daniel
