When I record internally I have no issue recording and saving a 32step loop.
This 32 step loop corresponds with a length of 127.
I have a sample in audicity and I took a piece of 3,5 seconds. It’s a 318kb 16bit WAV file. I can send this file to the machinedrum and the filesize shows up correctly.
When I playback this sample it’s only 16 steps. The length is set to 127. when I put the length to 64 I hear 8 steps. So in this case a length of 127 corresponds with 16 steps!
How can I hear the whole sample? I know speeding up the sample, halving the size, and then playing it back at a lower pitch would be a workaround. But I need a solution!
What am I doing wrong?
