hi,
on windows 10 pro… just downloaded and installed the latest “Transfer” program.
I open it and choose the Digitakt midi in/out in connection.
When i drag the OS1.2 zip file to the “Drop files here” area, it lights up as the background change, but when i release the mouse button, there’s no file shown there.
When I unzip the OS file and try to drop the .syx file, it shows a “block” error icon, the background is not highlighted and I can’t even drop the file there.
What’s wrong? Why can’t I upgrade?

Maybe you downloaded the wrong firmware by accident?
Also I think there’s a firmware update mode on the DT you need to enter. Yeah settings > system > os upgrade

I eventually managed to upgrade with the more annoying and traditional way of sending sysex file via MIDI.
It wasn’t a smooth sailing but I managed to.
Ah well, there are worst things and problems a man can have.

The exact same thing is happening to me. I have windows and Transfer will not let me drag and drop the correct sys ex into the program
