Songmode changes step length

I created a song with 4 tracks. They all have different step lengths. (An experiment with Euclid distribution). I have copied the first pattern to 6 others and modified them in various ways. I then wanted to play them it in song mode. After activation, however, only 4 steps are played and the pattern change no longer works. Songmode seems to change something about the track length…? Does anyone know?

If your patterns use M.Len=INF, they will not change automatically. You need to use M.Len=(Common multiple of the step lengths).

Thank you! So the smallest common multiple of 7, 13, 8, 11 is 8008 :wink:
I’ll try a workaround on that…Maybe I’ll try a Arp with different length on 4 tracks with 4, 8, 16, 32 length. that should generate some unexpected variations…
