I am about to get a RYTM in the next days in order to do a shootout between it and the OT and while researching a quick question came up.
I understand what a sound is and what a sample is…but what I am wondering is:
Are sound pool and sample pool separate from each other?
Meaning, do the samples that are contained within my 127 Soundslots also have to be loaded into my 127 Sampleslots? Or do they exist completely separate, which ultimately gives me 254 samples to work with?
My intuition is that when you choose a Sound to be loaded in the Sound pool, the bound sample is loaded in the sample slot list.
I wonder what happens when the sample slot list is already full, I guess a warning is issued.
I am away from my Rytm so I can’t test it right now.
