Stairway to Heaven.... What's your default sound to make and tune to play when you get on a synth and hit INIT?

Curious to hear what sounds/songs other people gravitate towards when faced by an initialised synth.

The two main ones I always gravitate to (and as ‘capt fkn obvious’ as you like btw);

  • Boards of Canada - ROYGBIV bass sound (INIT- 2 pulse waves an octave apart, one with pulse width mod).
  • Radiohead - Everything In Its Right Place (INIT- one saw wave osc, release up a bit, full sustain, roll down the cut off)

I do do more than just this, but I refer/default to these quite a lot.

Oscillators tuned low, filter cut, res up, little detune, adsr for a plucky bass, LFO on something subtle, play bass lines.

I don’t know that tune… you whistle it and I’ll play it.
