Is it just me? The new step sequencer standard mode is missing a legato function for me. To edit the note length afterwards is quiet uncomfortable. Pressing [Yes] while holding the note does not work precisely for me…
The Jump mode is even more wired as it is locking the note length per step.
So close but missed the fastness of the SH-101 sequencer. Hope they will update that.
I found some kind of workaround just if you own two machines.
DT sends Auto Channel to DN:
DT P-Locks different Step-Length at Auto Channel CC 5
DN receives Step-Length by DT using Trig Preview [TRIG]+[YES]
So you can use Step Sequencer at Jump Mode much faster without turning the Length Knob…

Not sure it’s much faster than SH101.

Theres an issue as its sending the not P-Locked Value of CC 5 afterwards…
