Stopping OT from Triggering DT Banks

Is there anyway to stop the Octatrack from launching the patterns on Digitone banks when you’re on IT banks 9-16?

I like to have them syncing with pattern changes but given that the DT only has 8 banks I find it annoying that OT banks 9-16 basically trigger banks 1-8 on the DT as well. Can this be stopped apart from turning off pattern change sync?

AFAIK no.

(IIR it sends a bank message when it uses banks 9-16, not usefull with other Elektrons. This message can be a condition for a midiprocessor that would filter Program Change event after receiving that message)
