Hi,
I have a synth plugged into the digitakt and noticed a strange thing about the external mixer:
If I double tap “stop button” the FX applied to the synth stops working completely, I have to restart the machine to make it work again.
Any one else noticed this? Is it a bug?

No it’s a feature. Any sample still playing will also stop running when you double click stop.
Yes I know, but the FX applied to the samples work when pressing play again. They dont on external gear, the signal is completely dry no matter how much I tweak the send FX in external mixer

I think you have to somehow trigger the FX again on an internal track to wake them up again.
on the digitakt you have to hit a sample which activates the effect thats on it then ext will start using fx, I learned this playing synth with a band, I wasn’t sequencing just using it as input and using tap tempo to time the effects with the drummer!! 
This, press a trig and it wakes up again, no need to restart the machine.
