This new forum is nice and clean n’all but the big issue is no pervasive 2 column view. This makes navigation tedious at best and is frankly a pain in the ass.
At the very least we need to see latest posts on every page so it’s easy to catch up on the discussions without having to continuously click back to topic level. There’s no need to use the whole page at the thread level. It should be two columns everywhere - this is just my 2c but also basic UI design. Elektron Users worked that way - and this isn’t some kind of conservative rant against change - look at any successful forum - the latest stuff is always at your fingertips - putting extra clicks in the users path and content hiding is clunky and just plain dumb in the 21st century 
I know Elektron likes to dance to its own beat - but sometimes design conventions are there for a reason - to make things easier, and cos they just work.
