Hi,
I like to have the Octatrack as the master of my Digitone, as I want the drums from the OT to be synced with the DT synths and bass.
So the OT goes to the Midi In of the DT.
But I want to have a Midi keyboard connected to the DT, also via Midi In.
How could I link the 3 of them just with midi cables (without midi mergers), I tried to use Midi In from OT Instead but it wasn’t synced with the DT anymore.

this should be no problem. you have to decide if dn or ot are master clock. both, dn and ot, can route the input from the midi keyboard to to their midi out via a specific midi channel.
so for example:
midi keyboard > dn midi in
dn midi out > ot midi in
ot is midi slave, dn midi master
in dn you have to set up a midi track to a midi channel which the ot receives…
in all devices you have to set the matching midi channels and transport/clock settings

Thank you! I did read the manual and searched for info, but what I missed was to activate the Clock setting on the DT. Now it’s all good
