Syncing my Digitone w/ my bandmate’s DT/DN

Before we started a 3-month hiatus my bandmate & I agreed to go the Elektron route.

I decided to couple my Roland Alpha Juno 1 with a Digitone. He decided to grab both the Digitakt & Digitone.

When we get back together in January how can we sync all 3 Elektron devices via bpm?
We’re both guitarists so the Elektron are primarily for percussion/atmosphere. We’ve both remarked how incredible they are for songwriting/idea generation. BPM sync would be a huge boon to the process.

Connect them using MIDI:
MIDI Out on the first to MIDI In on the second.
MIDI Thru on the second to MIDI In on the third.

Activate CLOCK SEND on the first unit and activate CLOCK RECEIVE on the others.

Do these MIDI settings need to be reset every time we fire them up or are they saved after we set it up the first time ?
