it took me hours to get syntakt working as a class compliant audio device the way I wanted. after a break from the computer it magically works.
I don’t use overbridge, just audio over usb into ableton, adding fx to syntakt main, send all plus an vst synth sequenced from a syntakt midi track back to the syntakt.
the more time I spend with the manual the more I became confused, now it’s working but the manual is still cryptic.
14.6.8 PRE/POST FADER
Sets if audio over USB should be pre or post the track level setting.
Hi, this just chooses whether the audio levels are processed by the track level mixer that you can access with FUNC + LFO (“Mixer” in red), whose levels are also connected to the Level knob to the left on individual tracks. When in doubt, “POST”
hi, thank you for your reply. I expected it to behave like you said but it does not. I started up everything to test again.
the level fader on functional +lfo page works normal no matter if pre or post.
the level fader on trig parameters pages works differently. but something is strange, like the setting isn’t applied immediately, have to press stop several times… confusing.
