The positives and negatives are 1000% in what actually works for you in practice, and depending on whether the addition to what you have is going to make you more productive in the short and long term.

Yep, agreed. Having specific outcomes in mind is where it’s at.
With Syntakt, I expect to unify my workflow further with the three compact Elektrons, and not be pulling in other synths like the Circuit Mono or MicroMonsta2 just to get some real analog or more voices. Also, it’ll be great to let the Digitone do more of the polyphony stuff and the Digitakt do more weird sample stuff while the Syntakt holds down the fort.
