New Eventide pedal, flanked by two Bass guitars. Doesn’t look like a H9 or Rose.

Looks like a regular 6 string guitar on the left, bass on the right though. Looking forward to whatever it is…

I counted 7 strings.

All I can make out is the Freeze switch and a Feedback pot (top R), Gravity pot (top M) for Black hole reverb?
Considering the Rose delay, could be a reverb of analog modeling proportions?

Not sure, but I thinkg there’s also SIZE and EQ.
A reverb would make sense, seems stereo.

I didn’t enhance enough :joy:

My favorite Space algo :kissing_heart:

  • MIDI capability over TRS! (use with a MIDI to TRS cable or converter box) or USB

New reverbs seem to be in style right now. Strymon teasing something that looks like a new reverb in the “Volante” form-factor. I’m hoping that it is a bit more specialized than just an iteration of the Big Sky, similar to how the Volante and TimeLine meet different delay needs.

Good demo here for those not familiar with the algo.

Price? Hoping it’s cheaper than a 2nd hand Space…

Seems boring to me, considering I ha an h9 already.

I imagine it would… I have a Space, I don’t need this either. It’s not innovative, it’s just something they probably should have done ages ago, a uniquely Eventide reverb in a simple medium format pedal. They sell a lot of H9s to be the thing on the pedalboard that does all the stuff you only use occasionally and don’t want separate pedals for. This is different, it just does one kind of reverb really well.

@sezare56 here in the UK I can see it for £279 GBP at a few places so half-ish the price of the Space and a good chunk cheaper than the H9. More or less the same price as the Bluesky and Mercury 7, that’s where it’s aimed.

Yay. Something I don’t need. Got H9. Anyway , core for the stereo input worth it, plus harmoniser algo and free algo = Blackhole

The Blackhole does stereo input via TRS like a Strymon or Meris pedal. Not as convenient as separate quarter inch inputs but it can do it. (Big bonus in that it’s on a physical dip switch, much better than an internal jumper like Strymon or Meris’ firmware settings mode toggle.)

I’m so close to pulling the trigger on one of these Paranormal Baritone Cabronitas. Great price point for adding a baritone and I’ve always thought Cabronitas look great. I’ve read that the old baritone squier jazzmasters are pretty sought-after these days. The only problem is that I would probably be tempted to mod it to hell then it wouldn’t be cheap anymore.

Can’t get the link to work but it looks cool. I know some people dislike the recent Fender mashups but I love the offset Teles for example.

Are they P90s or Jazzmaster style pickups on that baritone?

P90s. I love P90s, but would be fine with Jazzmaster or TV Jones-style pickups in a baritone.

I like them, I actually really want the thinline tele they have out. I think it would be a great guitar to modify.

Agree, that level of Squier (Paranormal / Classic Vibe etc) seems to be a real sweet spot at the moment.

I didn’t like them on an archtop AF75 Ibanez.

I’d love a baritone A tuned. Possible with the Cabronitas I guess? Good looking guitar indeed.
