Using effects from more than one track:
Try using the “THROUGH” effect. That way you can route the output of one track into another, and use the track effects of the second one to add distortion to the first one, after the first filter!
I guess you took that quote from @Tarekith’s very useful Machinedrum tips and tricks document. Unfortunately the quote seems to relate to the Monomachine’s Thru machine.
You can actually get multiple tracks in serial on the MD by sending a track’s audio to the individual outputs and then to the audio inputs, and using an INP machine on another track.
