TIPS for dubstep drum kit

Hi,

I needed money and i just extchanged my MD UW for a MD non UW and some $.

I used to play with “already made” samples to make the most of my MD pattern, i was thinking i will be able to replace the samples i used with internal synthesis (i like old but fat dubstep style), but i m not satisfied with what i’m doing.

I really need some advices or help to create some strong kits for dubstep.

Is there anyone how make some dubstep ?

(i just need help for drum kit / short fx, i got a OT and an A4 for synth etc)

Layer your sounds e.g. make a big snare with two or three different snares together.

I don’t think that substep producers use a MD…
Actually, the best way to do that is the advice just above.
there’s also a new possibilty, it’s to create a new kind of dubstep, things like skweeee new swedish electrodustep
