I changed my rec mode to ‘NONE’, which said it would spit back one, unsplit sysx data containing all my samples.
I still get one file per sample, but renamed. I’m not sure how much extra info (loop, sample position) etc got carried across.
Anyone ever used this ‘NONE’ rec mode reliably? Trying to come up with a good way to backup the md regularly and with sanity or at least a semblance thereof.
I’m mostly confused /concerned about sample placement data being saved. …since sample slot placement has an impact on how the kits work, I would want to make sure that was in order.
Is sample number stored in all the rec modes? SDS only? At all? I know there is ‘original place receive’…but curious as to the details of this.
