To many closed threads

I’m seeing way too many closed thread messages.

never seen this many on music related forums.

Guess its becoming a more and more commercial site where it is moderated to suit the company.

So, imo, the name should be changed to reflect this and certainly reasons given for the closures.

Oh for the love of pre octa EU days and I think if this trend continues an opportunity arises for another forum.

Any thoughts please?

Strange! I haven’t closed any threads. Which threads are you referring to?

one was the AR no midi out = sadness

cant remember the 2 others that I tried to post in and they all said

“Thread Closed”

I’ve just been able to post in the first one, so maybe a glitch at my end, server or the forum s/w.

I’ll try to remember what the other threads were

hmm its doing it again, maybe at my end or to do with quoting.

says in the MnM leds uneven thread “This topic is closed”

well a normal post works, :confused:

Whats happening is when I quote a post, the cursor is in the quote section and I cannot get it out, if I type anything inside the quote and hit reply it says, cannot have an empty message,

Then the page comes back and the cursor is in the correct position and I reply but it says topic closed.

I believe that happened to me once. I tried to reply to a thread but I was told it was closed; it wasn’t.

sometimes i cannot reply, or reply with quote to random threads, dont know the reason, maybe i am blocked, or my hardware, or human behind machine problem

I managed to reproduce this today,

  1. Reply to a thread
  2. Don’t type anything in the message box and hit post
  3. Error message, “Message cannot be empty” or rather
  4. Enter some text in the message box and hit post
  5. Error message, “This thread is closed”

Using chrome browser on ipad
