Total noob question about cables for midi syncing a4mkii and M:C

Hi,
New to hardware in general. I’d like to sync my a4mkii and M:C so that when I start a pattern on the a4 the M:C starts playing too. I can see in the manual that I can do it, and how to set it up, but I have no idea what cables to buy. The a4mkii has 3.5mm jacks, the M:C 2.5mm. Do I just buy a regular audio cable for this, or are there special midi cables I need?

Cheers
Russell

Thanks. (I also realise I wrote nonsense above about the outport of the a4mkii.)

You should have an official adaptor (3.5mmTRS to female MIDI DIN) with the cycles, so you only need a MIDI cable

Thanks all, cables arrived, and have them all set up for first jam session.

Well, I have to honest, I was thinking of selling my a4mkii for a digitone, but now it is hooked up to, and controlling (to some degree) my M:C (which is funnelling audio back through the a4mkii) I am blown away. I just lost about 4 hrs of my life in an instant playing with this set up.
