Track FX Are Gone

Hello all. Serious newbie here, so please bear with me.

I recently bought a Machine Drum UWMK2. I’m just getting started with the machine and am really enjoying it. I really love the FX that can be applied to the different tracks, but when I route the tracks to individual outputs, these FX seem to disappear! I don’t mean the master FX on the master output, I mean the individual track FX - bit reducer, distortion, 1 band EQ, etc.

I’m sure I’m doing something wrong that is very simple to fix, but I can’t find a solution for this problem anywhere online. It doesn’t seem to be covered in the manual either. Maybe I’m just looking in the wrong place, or asking the wrong question? Please excuse my ignorance.

I may be wrong but it could be that the seperate outs are dry
If not maybe you went into classic mode by mistake

The separate outs are dry - but I wasn’t aware it went as far as the SRR…thought it was just delay / verb / comp (the master fx).
