Ok, I knew this way but was curious if you found another way. I do wish for proper in-place overdub on track recorders like the pickups have, either that or the abilty to use rec trigs for pickups.

I experimented quite a lot, after I focused more on realtime recording / playing / mangling, but I’m still interested in improvements.
I succeeded to record / overdub with linear fades, using 2 tracks, 2 recorders overlapping, and slide trigs with VOL. I’d like do be able to do it with undefined length…doable I think, with lfo / release. Not simple at all.
