This might be a stupid question so bare with me.
When I load all 8 tracks on Pattern 1 they don’t stay on Pattern 2. Whe I go to Pattern 2 it’s the initial drum sounds.
Is this the way it is supposed to be or have I fiddled with some setting without knowing?
When I load sounds on the Digitone they stay there on the other patterns and that’s why I thought that the same would count for the Digitakt.
Ha I think this is normal behaviour and you will need to load new samples/sounds to your new tracks on P2.

copy pattern 1 to pattern 2.

And make sure you’re not in Live Record Mode when doing it (Record Button must be unlit).

By default, each new pattern will play sample slot 1 for track 1, sample slot 2 for track 2 … sample slot 8 for track 8.
So, if you want all patterns to be the same with your own samples, you unload samples 1-8 and replace them with your own.

This is useful and catches me out more than I can say. When the red record light is lit, stuff is different, like copy/paste
