Transfer - explore Digitone

Hello

I’m trying to save some patches/sounds from my Digitone … I’m using Transfer, but there’s no explore window when I connect

All three Transfer panes are there when I connect my Digitakt, but only two with the Digitone. I’m using the same USB cable and have both devices connected with the same settings. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

So I think you have to use elektron’s c6 software to dump the digitone. They kind of bury it for some reason but here is a link to it

if you open that application, click configure, and connect to your digitone on that midi config screen. note that transfer cannot be connected to the digitone for this to work. then in c6 press receive, then press the digitone settings button and go to sysex dump. in there you have options to dump projects, sounds, etc. I haven’t actually tried loading the file that was generated back to the digitone so I can’t guarantee it worked, but it seems like it worked.
