Trig conditions on MIDI tracks

Hello!

I can’t find an answer to my question in the manual so asking here-- why can’t I set trig conditions on my MIDI tracks? The manual suggests this is definitely a feature, but although I can see the COND box on the screen I’m unable to set/change the value there represented by “—” and set to value 0. Is there something that needs to be changed in one of the settings pages? Perhaps Ext. settings? I’ve tried different configurations there with no luck.

Thanks in advance!

No settings to make to use them, or disable them, AFAIK.
Hold an existing trig, turn the corresponding knob.
Did you installed latest OS with PROB feature?

Thanks for the reply. I thought it was an option in the last os version , but I guess not.

Update: I bumped the os to the latest and can now change probability.

Are you still having trouble setting other trig conditions?

I’m not seeing any other trig conditions available on my MIDI tracks, just probability.

Isn’t it like on the Digitakt since the last update, where you get probability by turning the encoder one direction, and other trig conditions when turning it the other direction?

Are you actually holding down a placed trig (in record mode) when turning the PROB encoder?

Must be your first time using trig conditions on any track. A trig condition is per trig, not global. As sezare said, you must hold down a trig before turning that knob. A trig meaning not just the button for that MIDI track, but an actual lit trig in the mode where the record button is lit solid and you can see the trigs you’ve placed on each step.

It’s not. I’ve owned a Digitakt for two years.

Yes! I didn’t realize turning the other direction would access the other conditions. Thank you!
