Trig "len" is measured in...?

Hi there!

Just wondering what the “len” parameter is measured in.

Section 11.2.4 of the manual states that the “Trig Length sets the duration of the notes…”, but doesnt state how duration is defined.

If i wanted to hold a trig for a whole page (i.e. length starting from step 1, ending at 16), what “len” should I set?

I noticed that “1/2” is somewhere between 7.75 and 8.5, so is “16” the right value?

Thanks!
Tian

I think 1/2 means half a page; I may be wrong though.

Is there any reason why you can’t just set it and see how long the note goes for?

Thanks - looking at the other values, I think “len” is the number of steps - i.e.

“1/16” seems to be value 1
“1/8” seems to be value 2
“1/4” seems to be value 4
“1/2” seems to be value 8

therefore “one page” must be 16.

It’s fractions of and then multiples of a 1/16th note. .25 is ¼ 16th note 128 is 128 16th notes. Got it?
