Unable to unload samples from RAM

Hey all!
First of all, I am new to model:samples, just got it a couple days ago. But I previously had great experience with model:cycles, Digitakt, and Analog Four mkII.
So, I am trying to unload samples from RAM and it’s not working at all. I have a project that has 13 samples loaded, but only 8 of them in actual use. I did go to the RAM sample browser, unloaded the unused samples, the list still shows 13 samples. I saved the project, turned of the device, turned it on, loaded another project and then loaded this project again - still shows 13 samples loaded including those unused ones which I have unloaded… Can you please suggest the correct procedure for unloading samples? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks.

You don’t need to unload samples from RAM, it’ll be automatically replaced by the new ones you’ll be using. You don’t need to worry about it.

You might try using transfer to get the project onto your computer, then load it, under a new name, onto the M:S. You should finish up with a slimmed down project.

Not sure what happened with your unload though, that should have done it.

Thanks, that’s good to know! But it’s just confusing after the Digitakt, which showed an empty sample slot immediately after unloading. Also, the model:sample manual doesn’t seem to describe this process in full, it just says “the sample will be unloaded” and that’s it  Thanks for your help again!

Oh it’s not a huge deal, I use a few very small samples per project anyway, so it’s not getting in the way of working with the unit at all. Just a learning process for me at this point. Thanks for your help!
