Exactly! I still kept my AR2 even with the v1.5 DT update, and I am not sure why some think I am dissing it. 
All I was pointing out was while the smaller boxes got some love, maybe it’s time for the flagships to get some of that too.

This is interesting. I was not aware Elektron team was this small… It is very surprising to me. Everywhere online I see how popular Elektron products are, often top 5 of most sold items on online retailers… Also with very good reputations and used by famous musicians… But this does explain a lot.
From what I can see, the digiboxes probably share a common environment, which is different from the flagship products (but maybe the 3 flagship products share a common environment?) And both are probably different from the models environment… Sounds like a nightmare to maintain/update when working as a small team.
The video does show that they want to keep on updating ALL their products, they just don’t have the workforce to do that at a fast rate while also working on new products.

With a small team it gets difficult to please all customers.
I think it would be better to fix all the bugs they have across their products, instead of creating that cherry on top which everyone else is crying for. In the end we bought the device with the specs how it was released. And for me personally it’s more important that my device works flawless. But to be fair… it’s not a specific issue with Elektron. The whole industry works like this.

I think its a completely logical reaction to probably being asked for updates for every machine every single day of the week. Even on instagram posts about new stuff, people (including yours truly one time 
) are asking for updates for existing machines. Feeling a bit guilty typing this haha.

Trig length and sample lenght could give same result but use different math I would guess. So yes but having a switch to have the same ability that was is offer in digitakt would still make sense.
But indeed your tricks is usefull !
Updates = Bug fixes… For sure.
I think in the end they want to satisfy us all. And for some person’s it’s more important to get new features… and others want the bugs to be fixed.
And what we get is:
- Some bug fixes
- Some new features
- And some new bugs
But not for every product in their lineup.
I hope everyone here gets what’s important for them. Until than we have to live with what we got.

To be fair regardless of tone I think this is always the case, it’s partly a flaw in written communication but also because we’re just a bunch of goons chatting on the internet.
There’s a common cycle one sees if they spend enough time here.
Person A: “This is a cool thing but I wish it could do X, Y, Z”
Person B: “Stop complaining”
Person A: “But I have complaints why can’t I share them”
Person B: “I’ve heard other people say this so now I’m going to complain about you”
My new hobby is being Person C, I haven’t quite nailed the format yet though.

Guys….Guys…the sole purpose of an internet forum is to make a discussion. There is absolute no need to agree on things. We are here to differ. Not to judge each other about that.
If someone likes the rytm in its current state, fine. Bring cake.
If someone hates it and want to complain, fine too, I bring the cake.
It‘s about the discussion. People always forget that nowadays.
Everyone tries to make a point and wants to bring their opinion through. And I am guilty of that too.
But its just about the discussion😄 And I think the rytm could be way more and way cooler and I think it should be Elektrons next main project. Soooo😄
